About Enki
God of fresh water, wisdom and creation, a clever friend to humankind who shared the secrets of civilisation.
A famous story
Enki dwelt in the freshwater ocean beneath the earth and was the cleverest of the gods. In one famous flood story he warned a man to build a boat and save life on earth, much like later flood myths, and he gifted humans the knowledge of crafts and cities.
